Piers Hart, Chairman of Historic Suffolk and Save Our Stations, will look at ways to counter Greater Anglia's destruction of our railway heritage with particular emphasis on Brandon Station. Many of our regional railway station buildings have been categorised as 'redundant' by Greater Anglia and are being left to decline and fall into disrepair. These buildings are of valuable historic interest and could be put to good community use. Find out more about stations with buildings at risk and how Save Our Stations is campaigning to save our valuable railway heritage from further decline and ultimate destruction.

Piers Hart's interest in old buildings started at an early age, when he joined the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings aged 19 years. His interest in railways was fostered by his grandfather the Rev. Howard Hart, one of many ‘railway vicars’ of the early part of the last century. Piers lives near Thetford, Suffolk where he ran his cabinet making business for 40 years.
