Oulton Burial Ground
Oulton Burial Ground, open from March 2023, is a new, natural, final resting place tucked away in the heart of the north Norfolk countryside. It is a joint project between Historic Norfolk and Ivan Fisher Independent Funeral Homes.
Oulton is a special place; timeless and unchanging with a real sense of history. The secluded site is surrounded by natural landscaping and native wildlife.
It is reserved for green burials where people are laid to rest in a natural way, causing as little impact to the environment as possible.
This is a place of spiritual and natural beauty providing a tranquil and intimate setting in the heart of the Norfolk countryside and nestling under big Norfolk skies.
Oulton Burial Ground has around 115 plots for green burials where people can be laid to rest in a natural way, close to nature, with as little impact on the environment as possible.
The historic Oulton Chapel is also available for all types of funeral services.
The natural burial ground will be an asset to the local area and gives this historic site a valuable new role for the future.
